After an 11-month wait, we FINALLY received our BMW F800GS. Imagine our excitement at getting the newest, latest, and greatest motorcycle from BMW.

A few minutes after signing the papers, I rolled the F800 out to the waiting trailer to haul it back to the shop. A few seconds after that, the bike was on its side. OH NO!

No worries, it was intentional, part of a ritual I go through whenever I get a new bike. In the safety, comfort and convenience of the dealer's parking lot, I intentionally lay the bike on its side. Once that first tumble is out of the way the rest will be easier. Eventually I'll drop it somewhere along the trail, so why not do it on my own terms? No harm done, but the look on Wayne's face (South Sound BMW) was worth a million bucks!
